Meet Tom Rawson

Meet Sharon and Michael
Sharon Abreu is a teacher, student, singer, songwriter, musician, performer, producer, activist, healer, worrier, and warrior. Michael Hurwicz is a materializer, songwriter, singer, writer, filmmaker, animator, performer, techie, back rubber, old hippie, young dreamer. They have both performed with the renowned folksinger, Pete Seeger. Together they sing, dance, hoot, holler; ignite your love for our environment, and inspiring proactive care of our world with a collective consciousness.

Meet Carolyn Cruso
Carolyn Cruso has been an environmental educator at several major nature centers including The Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary on Cape Cod (Massachusetts Audubon), The Squam Lake Science Center in New Hampshire, and the Moran Environmental Education Center, here on Orcas. She has a degree in Environmental Conservation and a minor in Botany from the University of New Hampshire in Durham. She has made her home on Orcas Island for the last 20 years. She’s been a naturalist for the Elder Hostel and is also a professional musician.
